About us

Raising the standard of audiovisual production in the UK.

dailyzo is a course for people who want to build, light, shoot and mix professional television and live events.

Why we started dailyzo

Television and live events depend on crews who understand how studio design, cameras, lighting and sound fit together. Too many courses teach them separately. We created dailyzo to teach the whole chain, with enough studio time for every learner to make mistakes safely and fix them quickly.

Our cohorts are small by design. Twelve learners share one studio, one gallery and a team of tutors who know each of them by name.

What guides our teaching

Learn on real kit

Every learner spends time in a working multi-camera studio, not just in a classroom.

Taught by crew

Our tutors are active directors, engineers and designers who still work on live shows every month.

Built for the workflow

We teach each discipline in the context of the whole production, from planning to transmission.

Who our learners are

Our learners include career changers, runners ready to move into the gallery, university graduates and in-house teams from broadcasters and event companies. Whatever your starting point, you leave with a practical portfolio and the confidence to join a crew.
